Since the inception of Project Liberia, it was always clear that God wanted a special place where authentic education in the Bible, along with a broad curriculum, could be taught on an ongoing basis. In 2018, Project Liberia purchased a 20-acre site where Christopolis Christian University would be constructed. Site development took several years, including clearing the way for a one-mile long road leading to the CCU site. An elected representative personally provided men, equipment and fuel to assist with this work, and the Minister of Transportation has publicly promised to pave the roadway for us within the next year. We have been blessed with generous grant funding from key donors and construction is now well underway for a 40,500 square foot college building that will be unlike anything else in the region. This university will serve students from Liberia and beyond for advancing Christian studies. Portions of the building were far enough along by August 17, 2026 that we were able to begin hosting classes there. The entire facility will be complete in late 2027, at which time we will hold a dedication and Grand Opening.
Total cost to construct the building will be approximately $1 million, not including furnishings and equipment needed to operate. Approximately 60% of the funds needed have been raised as of August 2026 and we pray for donations to bring this project to completion.
